Quick Bio: I went to a high school dedicated to the pursuit of zoology and biological sciences, and so it was a natural choice to leave LA and move to San Diego to study English. I graduated from SDSU in 2001, went right into an MA program (also at SDSU) that fall, then took a break at the end of 2003 to have a bit of a breakdown, get married, and move to Seattle. I moved back in 2006, completed my MA in American Literature in 2008, and am currently work as a Business & Educator Services rep for Borders Books, while working on getting back into teaching literature, and hopefully a PhD program in Literature in the near future.
