Around the world, animation comes in all flavors. For kids, for adults. Comedies, dramas, romances, action-adventure. But in the United States, pretty much the only animated features you see are comedies, and fewer and fewer TV series are action-adventure. Craig Miller (Curious George, Beast Wars) leads a panel of writers, producers, and network execs, including Ted Biaselli (VP, programming & development, The Hub), Brian Hohlfeld (Transformers Rescue Bots, My Friends Tigger and Pooh), and James Krieg (Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Teen Titans Go!), who'll try to explain why that is and discuss if it will ever change.
